What is an equal tee?
An equal (straight) tee is a buttweld fitting with a 90° branch of the same size as the run, used to split or combine flow. Dimensions follow ASME B16.9 or EN 10253-2, normally in ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel.
What is the difference between an equal tee and a reducing tee?
An equal tee has a branch the same nominal size as the run. A reducing tee has a smaller branch — it is specified as run × run × branch, for example 12" × 12" × 8".
What size range do you supply for equal tees?
1″–24″ NPS/DN25–600. Other sizes can usually be supplied on request — send your requirement for confirmation.
