Hot-Rolled Seamless Pipes
Seamless pipe produced by hot piercing and rolling a solid billet — no weld seam. Suited to high-pressure, high-temperature service in oil, gas, power and process plant.

Questions & Answers
What is hot-rolled seamless pipe?
Hot-rolled seamless (HRS) pipe is formed from a solid steel billet pierced and rolled at high temperature, so it has no weld seam along its length. It is the standard choice for high-pressure and high-temperature service, typically to ASTM A106 Grade B or API 5L.
What is the difference between seamless and ERW pipe?
Seamless pipe is pierced from a solid billet and has no longitudinal weld; ERW pipe is formed from strip and closed with an electric-resistance weld seam. Seamless is generally specified for higher pressures, thicker walls and elevated temperatures, while ERW is efficient and economical for lower-pressure lines and larger production runs.
Which standard covers A106 pipe dimensions?
Outside diameters and wall thicknesses follow ASME B36.10M; the material, chemistry and mechanical properties follow ASTM A106. Both are listed on our datasheet with the mass-per-metre table.
What outside ø · ⅛″–26″ do you supply for hot-rolled seamless pipes?
10.3–660 mm. Other sizes can usually be supplied on request — send your requirement for confirmation.
Which standards and grades are available?
ASTM A106: Grade A · Grade B · Grade C (seamless, high-temperature) · ASTM A53: Type S · Grade A · Grade B · API 5L: Gr B · X42 · X46 · X52 · X56 · X60 · X65 (PSL1 / PSL2). See the datasheet for the complete list.
What materials are offered?
Gr. B (A106 / A53 / API 5L) · X-grades API 5L only.
Is a technical datasheet available?
Yes — the official YTM Pipe datasheet with dimensions, materials and standards can be downloaded on this page.
