Dielectric Unions

Dielectric unions joining a steel pipe thread to a brass connection — a union nut, two tail-pieces, an EPDM gasket and an ABS sleeve keep the dissimilar metals electrically separated. Ideal for water heaters, storage and processing tanks, steam, gas and FCU / AHU connections.

Questions & Answers

What is a dielectric union?

A dielectric union is a threaded pipe union with an insulating sleeve and gasket that separates the two halves electrically. It prevents galvanic corrosion where dissimilar metals meet, such as a steel pipe connected to copper or brass at a water heater.

What size range do you supply for dielectric unions?

1/2"–2" (15–50 mm). Other sizes can usually be supplied on request — send your requirement for confirmation.

Is a technical datasheet available?

Yes — the datasheet is being issued in YTM Pipe format and is available on request; our team sends it with your quotation.

How do I get a price?

Send size, specification and quantity through the Request-a-Quote form, WhatsApp or [email protected] — our team responds within one business day.
