What is a mitered elbow?
A mitered elbow is a change of direction fabricated from straight pipe segments cut at an angle and welded together, rather than formed as a single piece. It is used at large diameters and non-standard angles where a wrought buttweld elbow is unavailable or uneconomical, and is designed to ASME B31.3 or AWWA C208.
What size range do you supply for mitered elbows?
12″–100″ large bore. Other sizes can usually be supplied on request — send your requirement for confirmation.
