Dielectric Flanges
Series E300 dielectric flange sets — a steel flange paired with a bronze companion flange, insulated bolting and an EPDM gasket. Installed between pipes of dissimilar metals, they stop the galvanic and stray-current corrosion that would otherwise eat the joint.

Questions & Answers
What is a dielectric flange?
A dielectric flange set electrically isolates two sections of pipe at a flanged joint using an insulating gasket, bolt sleeves and washers. Breaking the electrical path stops galvanic current flowing between dissimilar metals, which is a common cause of corrosion where, for example, bronze meets carbon steel.
What is the difference between a dielectric flange and a dielectric union?
They do the same job at different sizes and connection types. A dielectric union is a small-bore threaded fitting, typically 1/2" to 2", with the insulator built into the union. A dielectric flange is a flanged assembly for larger lines, where the insulation is provided by a gasket, sleeves and washers between two standard flanges.
What size range do you supply for dielectric flanges?
2 1/2"–6" (DN65–DN150). Other sizes can usually be supplied on request — send your requirement for confirmation.
Is a technical datasheet available?
Yes — the datasheet is being issued in YTM Pipe format and is available on request; our team sends it with your quotation.
