What is a dielectric pipe nipple?
A dielectric nipple is a steel nipple with an internal plastic lining, usually PE or PEX, that isolates the pipe wall from the medium and breaks the electrical path between dissimilar metals. It is supplied with threaded, grooved or mixed ends.
