1. Who we are

The YTM Pipe website (www.ytmpipe.com) is operated by TOTALIEN ENDUSTRIYEL URUNLER SAN. TIC. LTD. STI. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Türkiye, acting as the data controller within the meaning of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

2. What personal data we collect

Data you provide. When you submit a contact or request-for-quotation form, e-mail us, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, company, e-mail address, phone number, country, and the content of your enquiry, including any files you attach.

Data collected automatically. When you browse this website we process technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you reached them. This is done through cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy, including Google Analytics where you have consented to optional cookies, and standard server logs operated by our hosting provider.

We do not knowingly collect data relating to children, and this website is intended for business (B2B) audiences.

3. Why we process your data

  • Responding to enquiries and quotations — to prepare and follow up offers you request (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps).
  • Order handling and customer administration — where an enquiry becomes an order (performance of a contract; legal obligations such as bookkeeping).
  • Marketing communications — only where permitted by law or with your consent; every message contains an unsubscribe option.
  • Website analytics and improvement — with your cookie consent, to understand how the site is used (consent / legitimate interest).
  • Security and abuse prevention — protecting the website and our systems (legitimate interest).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:

  • Odoo S.A. (Odoo.sh) — website and business-system hosting (EU data centres).
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery and security.
  • Google LLC — analytics and advertising measurement (subject to your cookie consent).
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — e-mail delivery.
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business) — if you contact us via WhatsApp.
  • Group companies of the Totalien brand family, courier and freight companies, and professional advisers, where necessary for your request.

Some of these providers are located outside Türkiye and the EEA. Where personal data is transferred abroad we rely on the safeguards available under KVKK Art. 9 and, where the GDPR applies, on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to actual orders are kept for the statutory retention periods under Turkish commercial and tax law (generally 10 years). Analytics data is retained according to the settings described in the Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 (and, where applicable, GDPR Arts. 15–22) you have the right to: learn whether your data is processed; request information about the processing; learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom data is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction of data; request notification of correction or deletion to recipients; object to results produced by exclusively automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and hosting with reputable providers, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always available on this page.
